Sharon B. Schamber-Jones, CPA, is the president. Sharon has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (majoring in accounting) and a Master of Professional Accountancy from the University of Southern Mississippi. Before beginning her public accounting practice in 1983, Sharon taught accounting and business law for three years at Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, Louisiana. Today, besides practicing public accounting, she teaches accounting and business law at William Carey University as an Assistant Professor.
She has served on the board of governors for the Miss. Society of CPAs (MSCPA) and as the president for the Southeast Chapter of the MSCPA. She has also served on various committees for the MSCPA, including the long-range planning committee and a committee concerned with education and scholarships.
For two years, Sharon chaired the USM Estate Planning Council. She is a member of the Area Development Partnership, the Petal Chamber of Commerce, and the USM Alumni Association.
In connection with Lions Club activities, Sharon is a member of the Petal Lions Club, past district governor of District 30 S. Lions of Mississippi, Inc., past president and life-time trustees of the Lions Sight Foundation of Miss., Inc., and a former trustee of the Mississippi Lions Eye Bank, Inc.

Liz Shattles has been with Schamber-Jones CPA, PA for seven years. She is the Office Manager and oversees all aspects of office operations. Liz assists with various types of tax returns including payroll, sales tax, and income tax. Her responsibilities also include client relations and routine bookkeeping services.
